What is the best shade of red lipstick for fair skin?

i'm very fair, and i love MAC red, by mac. it's a great pink based red, so while it's very bright, it's not over powering. it's also have a blue undertone, which again is good on pale skin (if you have a cool skin tone... which a lot of fair people do)





if you have more a more warm skin tone, you could maybe look at russian red by mac, which is again a brighter red without being too deep (it's a true red, so really anyone could wear it).





your best bet is just to go to mac (yes, they are the best!) and try on lots of different colours, they have such a huge range of lipsticks your bound to find something you like.





when your fair you can really get away with a lot, it just depends how bold you want to be. remember to keep the rest of your face simple, because being fair, the red will stand out more, and you're makeup can look ';too much'; quickly.What is the best shade of red lipstick for fair skin?
i have fair skin (almost pale) and i have green eyes so the best colour that suits my skin and eye colour is peach colours. ur lipstick shud try to be a tiny bit lighter than ur lip colour already is. it flatters the skin and takes it up a tone so u dont look pale or like a drag queen

I personally think that like ruby red looks good on fair skinned people. The contrast is beautiful, but really bold! I think wearing red lipstick and little or no other makeup really says something about a girl. I do that sometimes when I feel a little confident :)
depending on your eye and hair colour you're most likely going to want a blue-toned red

Fair skin can get away with any shade of red from dark to light. However, avoid plum/purple toned reds.
