redWhat shades of lipstick look good on Indian women ?
I have some nice shades that fit check out my site.
Dark colors
If you need help choosing colors to suit you try the Virtual Makeover here: http://www.marykay.com/melsca/default.as鈥?/a> Once you've done that, you can go to the Application Tips section on the same site for step by step instructions on applying your makeup. I hope this helps out girl!
Stick with clear, cool colors. If you use makeup on your eyes, you may want a shiny gloss over a peach or pink. If you don't do much with your eyes, you can go with bright pinks or corals or peach (all on the pink side)....not any shade that has an orange or beige cast to it. It should have an undertone of blue. I would use a pinkish gloss over the lipstick too. It will give a sparkle to your face and eyes.
I agree with those who said ';Stay away from reds';, well atleast not all reds. Try some darker reds because with light reds any woman, no matter their skin color would look like they came from the street corner. Or as my dad would say, ';You look like a hobby horse.'; Please take no offence to those comments?
My suggestion, would also be pinks, anything with blues in them, no yellows, it would look bad with the olive skin. I have a friend who's Italian and she would wear colors like these: e.g. Could try what some makeup artists would call 'Nude', or mauve, or a light brownish color of some sort. Try any pinks, or dark reds, again I say. Try some light and medium purples. Also try some of these with gloss on or in them.
My friend wears this sheer gold color and it looks amazing!
my grandmother is indian. she looks great in light browns. and reds.
Glosses with a hint of berry color, like lancome's beach plum gloss, go great with any skin color.
a coral, berry, light pink, purple tones.... not bright red; its too bold
you can wear reds, oranges, berries and about anything else as long as it isn't frosted...make sure pinks are true pink, not shiny pearlized colors...
I would have to say a berry color and red.
Light Red
I like mocha colors or sheers.

Wild Woman Josie, Cranberry and Petal are all nice options in a rosy or berry shade from Bare Escentuals. Sephora has them all for $15
Berry red or mocha brown. And go for something glossy.
I guess light red would do well on u.Dont be tempted to use the shades of brown,as it would make u look more than ur age.
A red color would look good. Some tan colors would too.
First, determine if you鈥檙e Warm, Neutral or Cool 鈥?based on your eye, hair and skin color/tones 鈥?then select the shades specifically formulated for that group. You are a neutral ....
