What shade of red lipstick looks nice for asians?

light? dark? orange based? blue based?

I've got black hair

aaaand now that it's summer what type of eye make up would go with your answer?

THANK YOU %26lt;3What shade of red lipstick looks nice for asians?
assuming that you have darker skin lip color that has orange hues will go better. coral shades for day, and maybe pink/red for night looks

If you have pale skin, then you don't want to use red, unless your going bold, Nude lips are always a hit, and nightime go for a punchy pink,

summer eye make-up is always fun

I like bold liners and mascara

I don't like using to much eyeshadow, cause it always makes make-up to heavy for summer!

Try Mac products! What shade of red lipstick looks nice for asians?
Im asian and i wear a light lipstick or lipgloss and for your eyes wear eye shadow and eyeliner or liquid eyeliner bright/light colours like orange, green and blue....
Go for light red lipgross then lipstick. If you want your lips to be in the 'limelight', avoid doing too much eyeshadow %26amp; eyelinder.
ORANGE BASED WILL BLEND WITH YOUR BLACK HAIR...AND DARK BROWN EYE LINER WITH A LIGHT TOUCH OF BLACK MASCCARA WILL DO THE REST PERFECT BLEND!!! HAVE A WONDERFUL SUMMER...
bright red and throw on some high clear heels while your at it...oh and a short short skirt...
dark red is hot
im part asian and red lipstick suits very few asians. i stick to neutral/ pink lipstick or lip gloss
I'm Vietnamese - and I have always thought that a dark shade of red looks good.

Green and Gold eye make up looks good on asians, I'd say green is better on light skin and Gold is better on more tan - but they both work for asians. But probably not with the red lipstick.

Thats just my thoughts on makeup
I think a light colour, but it depends, if you want a dramatic look, go for a dark colour, if you want a innocent look go light
I think an orange based one would be nice if you're more of a deep olive skin tone. If you're lighter I would go with a blue based red. I would go sans eyeshadow and just use plenty of mascara and do minimal eyeliner.
bright red would look good on asians who are fair skinned. blue based or dark red would look good on brown or dark skinned asians. with the eye makeup since any color of read is already heavy it's best to apply light color on your eyes or a shade that blends well with your skin. choose eye shadows that aren't too vissible cause it would only clash against your red lipstick. since the lipstick has a heavy color you must apply light make up on your eyes so as to look natural. cause it's summer it's always best to look natural and to blend in with nature. with this make up it's also good to apply sunkiss color to your eyes and cheeks to complete the summer look
Hi there, I'm a professional makeup artist %26amp; I would have to say BLUE based. You know what you're talking about if your asking ';what undertone'; hue. I'm impressed !

%26amp; as far as what type of make up? I'd be more than happy to help you answer this question if you'd like to email me @ geminiphs@hotmail.com.

Looking forward to hearing from you. If you're unsure, ask about me in this section :)
pink is always pretty (and the most natural-looking choice for golden-skin because that's the natural color of your mouth). Why I think you should pick pink is because it's really just enhancing what is already there. PLUS it stands out gorgeously with your Asian-skin tone. Other colors that would look good on your lips are plums, mauves, and a bright red.

For your eye make-up, use pale gray, slate blue, purple, or pink eye shadow. these colors will brighten up your eye area. For eyeliner, use black or gray. Use black mascara.

hope this was useful!
Depends on your skin color. Are you pale? olive skinned?
i think blood red would look good against your hair color and pale skin and smokie eyes, that would rock!!
